AnyMediaPlayer plays media sources you choose. We use only the information needed to connect your devices, remember your choices, and provide the features you request.

Who is responsible
MRG's Solutions, UAB is the controller of information handled by the AnyMediaPlayer apps, website, device-management service and direct customer relationship.
Information we handle
User content
When you add or manage a source, we process the playlist URLs or uploaded playlist files, electronic programme guide choices, channel and media names, artwork references, folder backgrounds, pinned sources, favourites, and playback progress needed to organise and play your content. A playlist URL can contain credentials supplied by your media provider; treat it as confidential.
Device identifiers
We process the device identifier used to connect the app with its saved configuration. Depending on platform and setup, this can be a generated app identifier or a device address entered for pairing. We also process platform, device model, app version, activation and service-status information.
Product interaction
We process actions needed for app functionality, such as registration and management requests, playlist saves and refreshes, settings synchronisation, favourites, resume positions, watched status, and requested metadata or artwork lookups.
Account and purchase information
For paid plans, we process the account identifier, selected plan, payment provider, non-sensitive transaction references, subscription state, entitlement dates, refunds, revocations, linked devices, and billing-support history. Apple or the web payment provider processes payment credentials. AnyMediaPlayer does not store complete card numbers or card security codes.
Other operational data
Our systems receive normal connection and security information such as IP address, request time, endpoint, result, and limited diagnostic details. We use essential management-session and anti-abuse information to authorise changes, prevent fraud, rate-limit destructive actions, and keep the service reliable.
On the public product page, our first-party measurement counts page views, privacy-preserving daily browser totals, coarse country and platform totals, the referring website's host, campaign labels and selected product-button clicks. Country is resolved locally from the connection address and stored only as an aggregate two-letter country count; platform is reduced in the browser to a broad operating-system family. The analytics record does not store the visitor's IP address, raw user agent, device model, browser version or full referring URL, and the daily browser value cannot be joined across dates. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track disable this measurement in supported browsers. Country data is provided by DB-IP under CC BY 4.0. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
How and why we use it
- Pair your app with the configuration you save and deliver that configuration to the correct device.
- Parse, organise, display, and play your own live TV, movie, TV-show, music, download, and guide sources.
- Synchronise settings, favourites, playback state, and metadata across supported AnyMediaPlayer experiences.
- Verify purchases, maintain Pro access, restore entitlements, manage linked devices, prevent payment fraud, and answer billing requests.
- Secure the service, diagnose failures, protect against misuse, and support users.
We process this information to provide the service you request, for our legitimate interest in operating and securing it, and with consent where applicable law requires consent.
Media sources and external services
AnyMediaPlayer does not provide your personal media subscription. The app or our service connects to locations you choose, so the operator of a playlist, stream, website, or media server receives connection information according to its own privacy policy.
When you request enrichment features, titles, artist/album hints, language preferences, or media identifiers may be used to retrieve matching information or artwork from services such as TMDB, OMDb, Wikidata, MusicBrainz, and Cover Art Archive. We do not send your playlist credentials to those metadata services.
These providers may operate outside your country. Their handling of requests is governed by their own policies. AnyMediaPlayer does not use advertising SDKs or data brokers.
Apple processes App Store purchases under its own privacy terms. When direct website checkout launches, the identified payment provider will process the checkout and payment method under its own privacy terms. We receive the transaction and subscription information needed to provide access, reconcile payments, prevent fraud and handle support.
Storage and retention
Active configuration and synchronisation records are retained while needed to operate your connected device. Account, transaction, entitlement, refund and audit records are retained for the service relationship and for applicable accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute and legal periods. Cached guide, artwork, and media metadata can remain until refreshed, replaced, or removed as part of service maintenance.
Using Remove Playlist clears the active playlist assignment, settings, favourites, and playback-progress records for that device. To protect against accidental or malicious deletion, the service first creates a restricted recovery snapshot and retains at most the newest 20 snapshots for that device; older snapshots are removed as newer ones are created. Security audit records may be retained to investigate abuse and protect the service.
You can request deletion of personal data associated with your device using the contact details below. We may retain limited information where required for security, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or enforcement.
Your choices and rights
You can change or remove playlist assignments from the device-management page. You may also ask us to provide access to, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal data, subject to applicable law. We may need to verify control of the relevant device before acting on a request.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. In Lithuania, the supervisory authority is the State Data Protection Inspectorate.
Security and children
We use access controls, encrypted transport, scoped management sessions, rate limits, and operational monitoring designed to protect the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
AnyMediaPlayer is a general-audience media utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's personal data for advertising or profiling.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the product, our processing, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented through the service or another appropriate channel.
