AnyMediaPlayer Support
Set up your library, solve common playback problems, and send a useful support report for AnyMediaPlayer on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.

Try the demo
On the first screen, choose Try Demo. No account is required. The app loads public and Creative Commons/open sample live TV, movies, TV shows, music and a current program guide.
Connect your own media
Open the device manager, enter the Device ID shown by the app, then add playlist URLs or files for Live TV, Movies, TV Shows and Music. Add an EPG URL to a Live TV source when available.
Reload the assignment
After saving, return to AnyMediaPlayer and choose Reload Assignment. Large collections can take longer to prepare; keep the save-progress screen open until it confirms completion.
Browse and play
Use the top tabs for Live TV, Movies, TV Shows, Music, Browser and Downloads. Search, sorting, groups, favorites and player settings are available from the bottom controls.
If something will not play
- Confirm the same media URL works on the same network in another current player.
- Check that the playlist subscription or media server is online and that its credentials have not expired.
- Try another item from the same source to separate one broken stream from a source-wide problem.
- Switch Wi-Fi or Ethernet back on, then return to the grid and start the item again.
- For Live TV, allow the automatic retries to finish. If the stream remains unavailable, the app returns to the channel grid.
- If playback still fails, include the details listed in “Send a useful report” below.
AnyMediaPlayer is a media player. It does not provide channels, movies, music, subscriptions or access credentials. Playback, program guides, catch-up, subtitles and metadata depend on the source you choose.
Library, downloads and network media
Large playlists
For the smoothest grids, split very large collections into several clearly named playlists. AnyMediaPlayer presents playlists of the same content type as folders.
Downloads and local files
Downloaded movies and music also appear in their matching library tabs. On iPhone, iPad and Mac, compatible files can be opened from the system file browser.
Network browser
Saved SMB, FTP, SFTP and WebDAV sources appear in Browser. Compatible DLNA media servers can be discovered on the local network.
Program guide and catch-up
EPG matching depends on channel identifiers and guide data from the selected source. Catch-up appears only when the channel declares a supported archive.
Controls by platform
iPhone and iPad
Use touch controls and device rotation. Music can continue in the background and can be controlled from the Lock Screen, Control Center, headphones and CarPlay audio.
Apple TV
Navigate with Siri Remote focus. Channel up/down, EPG, tracks and player menus are available without leaving playback. Sleep/wake recovery reloads an interrupted live stream when needed.
Mac
Use mouse or trackpad, keyboard arrows, play/pause and Back/Escape. Resize the window freely. Version 1.0 supports Apple-silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later.
Inside the player
Available controls can include seeking, aspect, audio and subtitle tracks, teletext, repeat, shuffle, autoplay, resume, subtitle size, equalizer and music visualizers.
Send a useful report
Tell us what happened and include the details below. This helps us reproduce the real fault instead of guessing.
- Device model, operating-system version and AnyMediaPlayer version
- Content tab and source type, such as Live TV, local file, SMB or DLNA
- The exact steps before the problem and what appeared on screen
- Whether another item from the same source plays correctly
- A screenshot or TestFlight feedback report when available
Never email a full playlist URL containing a username, password or access token. Remove or mask credentials before sharing diagnostic information.
